Tart red fruit with plenty of tannins. Sour cherry and plum dominate the palate while heavy tannins give balance. The finish is acidic and leathery. Big boy wine that is best consumed with food. Found chocolate late in the game after the wine opened itself up.

This is considered a good table wine on Portugal. Ideally paired with red meat such as steak. It was a little rough around the edges. The winery was very pretty with terra cottas painted cobalt blue.
