The wine has a good flavor, but it has an objectionable effervescent quality that I don’t like. Even after letting it open for over thirty minutes it didn’t diminish. I wouldn’t buy this wine again. I wonder why they have it on the wine list at this nice restaurant. — 5 years ago

Was not fond of this wine. Initially it had an effervescent characteristic to it that was not desirable. Very dry and on the thin side. However, after 30-40 minutes the wine opened up and it was far better. — 6 years ago

Very disappointing. Nose is fine. Notes of black cherry. Dry. But thin. Looks and drinks more like a Pinot Noir. Not a rich, bold tooth stainer like I was hoping for. I’d never order this wine again if I wanted a Syrah. The flavors are fine, it’s just a lightweight. I’ve never given a wine poor reviews like this. Again, the wine isn’t nasty, just uncharacteristic of a Syrah in my view. — 3 years ago

Nice dry wine. Big firm tannins with lots of black cherry. Remarkably clean nose without the typical barnyard nose characteristic of many French wines. I think you’ll enjoy it. Would pair well with a nice steak — 5 years ago
