Quilceda Creek
Galitzine Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon
I think this can climb another point or two, but it will take another 5-7yrs. The potential is there but this is just not ready (for my taste). Aromatically, it’s open for business. Intoxicating notes of currant, cassis, mixed blue and black fruits, sandalwood, and espresso. Built like an absolute tank on the palate with chalky and chewy tannins. Red fruit starts to appear here with some graphite, fig, vanilla pope tobacco and baked black cherries. Quality is undeniable. Thanks @Bill Makens .

Ripe black cherry, current and full silky smooth tannins. Excellent effort for a family that won't offer anything to the consumer that isn't of their highest quality.

Apr 16th, 2017Seemed like maybe it needed a few more hours to breathe. Tasty but not explosive with complexity that I was expecting.
