Power full with 1 and 1/2 hour decanting I think this wine needs serious ageing . Brooding huge powerful wine much more like a great Bordeaux !! Love it but next time will open and decant 4 hours or more!! I rate this 98+.. Impressive

Great length sweet tactile sensation throughout the experience, balanced fruit and oak. Gorgeous whiskey barrel tone to the finish ... This is exceptional winemaking!

Holy. Molly.
Blackberries. Currant. Oak. Not as hot on the nose as I thought it would be with 15.2% alcohol. Tannins WELL balanced. Bakers chocolate on the finish. SUPER long finish. Vanilla/white chocolate on finish. IN LOVE

Magnum. Sort of sweet and disjointed. Yet to have a quilceda that has blown me away. I’ll keep trying em

Quite backward and austere version of quilceda. Blac fruit and stoney on the nose. In the month its the same more wet stone with peppery notes. This wine needs a few more years to come around if ever.

Very concentrated and deep but not overdone. Silkier than I would have expected given how big it is. Really really good. Bottle drank well for 3 days after opening with last glass on 3rd day only slightly oxidized

Absolutely delicious :)
Liquorish, black berry velvet with some peppery undertones - one of the best of the 2011 Napa Cabernet Sauvignons

Lots of outside love for this wine, but I'm not impressed considering its price. Rich black fruit, huge alcohol and tannins, with decent acidity. Highly earthy as well. Yay-- another monstrously hot Washington cab!
