Good classic Champagne taste. Pear and a bit of toast. Lots of fine bubbles. A bit foamy for my taste but well made and re freshingly crisp.

A great Champagne substitute. Mainly Pinot Noir with big richness and acidity. Awesome bubbly for $25.

Jul 8th, 2016Quartz Reef Zero Dosage Brut NV. So delicious. Tons of acidity but plenty of the ripe Otago fruit to keep it balanced. Achieves a balance that reminds me of zero dosage sparklers from récoltant manipulant in the the Aube. Fresh and juicy lemon/lime, white flowers/orange blossom, slight oxidative and autolytic character. Good finish.

Beautiful bubbles. Salted pears and lemon zest with great structure and tiny bubbles. Great persistence and palate presence and just shy of champagne depth. Well done, Rudi!
