California Bourbon Barrel Aged Zinfandel

Hmmmmm smoky and sweet. Maybe a bit too sweet, but not so bad that you don't want to drink it. Very smooth.

Aged in bourbon barrels, this California Zinfandel wine marries two American legacies - the prized whisky barrels of Kentucky with California’s heritage Zinfandel vines, once the most widely planted red wine variety in the states. This uniquely American aging method yields a wine with luscious fruit flavors of cherry and blueberry balanced by rich spices and a tobacco-like smoky finish.

Fruity with a slight bourbon barrel finish which makes me really like it. Pairs well with chicken parm, tbd on Belgian chocolate mousse cake
