2019 - with Papa Murphy’s pizza - good wine

Dark ruby color. Plush aromas of black cherry/blackberry/plum with a distinct presence of baking spices. The palate is loaded with both red and black fruit, graphite, tobacco and dark chocolate. Hint of those sweet baking spices on the very smooth and lengthy finish. Full bodied but with very soft tannins. Medium-minus acidity and nice texture. Excellent QPR. Thanks for securing this bottle for me, Petey!

Mini wine tasting vs Campfire Red & Booker My Favorite Neighbor. This cab was my least favorite- needs to be smoother for the price perhaps longer decanting.

Gets better with age after opening

Kind of acidic. Ok but not better than most Cabs

Mid level Cab from the Bounty Hunter in downtown Napa. Complexity all around. Nose is simmering raspberry jam, cinnamon, and coffee. Layered palate with semi-tart red jammy fruit, chocolate, earth, and leather. Massively tannic finish. Well worth the release price. If you haven't been, it's a great place to kick off or finish a day in Napa. Their BBQ is some of the best around.

We had the 2012 Vintage on 11/1-2/15. Dark berries on the palate. A good Cab for the price
