A bit too oaky and perfumed (for me) to merit serious attention despite this and the lofty alc. I could see this finding fans around the grill or with pizza.
However for the price ($32) you can find way better and cheaper alternatives.

1 person found it helpfulSep 7th, 2015Price is WAY less than $32. Mitch sells it in his Napa tasting room for $22 a bottle and it's worth every penny! I think you're hard pressed to find a Sangiovese with such spice and depth for the price.

Mar 19th, 2016Wondeful ! White pepper, mocha and soft cedar bouquet. Deep blackberry fruit and black pepper with a limestone finish. Well balanced. Great food wine.
