Another winner. Dried cherries, minerals rose petals and potpourri. Hints of tar and mushrooms. Long finish. Still plenty of acidity and tannins no rush but great now.

Stunning tonight. A more elegant, less plush 90 than many I’ve had, but the balance, the depth of the fruit, that fabulous aged Nebbiolo nose. Terrific.

What a nose... earth, forest floor, ripe black olive, rich fig, mushroom. Old Nebbiolo at its best. Silky smooth, round and balanced. The wine just keeps evolving in the glass. Flavors of fir, red fruits, savory herbs and a finish that never seems to end. Perfect with lamb ragu and wine braised short-ribs.

Earthy fresh turned soil, cherry compote, a little soy sauce and nice umami. Dried herbs, freshly chopped. Wonderful balance and tension. Lots of sediment- settles and filtered best we could. Tannins are integrated perfectly with the acidity.
