Barbaresco Nebbiolo

Medium weight, great acidity. Violets, smoke and cherries.

Well developed and in a prime drinking window. Lots of Dried orange peel and cherries with a complex nose focused around a core of baked earth and black tea. Licorice, roasted chestnuts, tar and dusty leather develop through the finish. Still a great spine of tannin but the stars are all aligned on flavor. Drink it now!

Dry but still balanced - earthy perfection

Prunotto Barbaresco 2009. Improved a after being opened (and recorked) for a week, but still a solid "meh".

A little tight and super dry but like the crushed flowers and berry

Bright with notes of cherries.

Nice full bodied Italian wine
