2011 Proyecto Garnachas de España, La Garnacha Salvaje del Moncayo. A truly great Garnacha. Mineral, delicate, low alcohol. One of the best I've had!

Light to medium ruby red. Lots of minerality on the nose with some herbal notes, and light cherries. Medium tannins (5/10) and light plus to medium bodied. Floral on the palate with red cherries, strawberries and a little greenery. Drink till 2021.

Delicious! Very mild tannin, light-medium body, nice berry & tobacco flavors, pleasantly chalky minerality.

En nariz un poco apagado aunque sí que tiene un poco de fruta roja. En boca goloso y con muchísima fruta.

Mild flavor and smooth mouth-feel compared to other red wines, doesn’t need to be paired with food even though it’s 14.5%. Acidity is balanced with tannins.

Definite whiff of smoky tobacco and chocolate. Dark, jammy fruit - cherries, raspberries, plums. Nice mouth feel - mild, smooth tannins. Will buy again.
