Three Palms Vineyard Merlot

Delicious Merlot, lots of spice and tasted oak. This would be excellent with a nice salt and peppered steak!

I brought this wine to blind tasting. Tasted at winery and thought it was spectacular. It was the first of eight we tasted and i think my rating was conservative as i did not know what was coming. Re-tasted end of evening and liked it better. Either it opened up or i loosened up, or both.

A great Merlot vineyard.

14 year old Merlot. Very smooth and good fruit. Went well with my pizza.

Still maturing. Took about 30 minutes to open up but then very smooth on the palate.

Dark garnet in the glass. Dark fruit on the nose. Beautiful palate with long finish.

Took an hour to open, but really nice!
