Ca 40.08 Nù Litr Orange Puglia Falanghina

Nose has dried tangerine, dehydrated apricots, ripe cantaloupe, Himalayan pink salt and a fading vinegar note.

Palate has clementine orange, under-ripe nectarine, faint honey, light saline notes, rose hip tea with light acidity and medium finish.

100% Falanghina, with 5 days of skin maceration.

Super duper crushable. This wine is the very definition of a summer wine. 100% Falanghina. The color of a sunset, this pours a slightly hazy copper salmon. On the nose it’s white flowers and stone fruit. On the palate, it’s ripened apricots, peach skin, rhubarb and bitters. Finish is lasting. Balanced. Works with simple meals. I truly hope Valentina has nothing to do with her Father’s (allegedly) shitty business practices. A truly compelling quaffer.

Close to grape juice.

Refreshing, medium body. Very drinkable.

Not bad, but indifferent – lacks character

Great with a chicken burrito.... with jalapeños and green chili salsa.
On its own.... meh.

Average modern, natural wine. Nothing offensive, nothing memorable. Refreshing and gulpable on a hot summer night.

Funky, fun nose. Yeast, pear rind, orange peel, chalk and peach. Soft and round on the mouthfeel. Fresh pineapple and guava. Tropical. Really enjoyable with a little chill. From bottle cap.

Lots of apricot, a whiff of orange blossom, and a sprinkle of salt. Not as much funk as many of Valentina Passalacqua's wines but depending on your taste, that can be a positive or a negative.
