Very nice Primitivo from Puglia. Smooth, medium bodied. Nicely aged at 6 years. Pairs very well with Southern Italian food. Drank inMay 2023.

Not as heavy as I wanted but enough heft for balance with veggies and on its own. It’s delicious and disappeared quickly which makes me question my own behavior more than anything else!

A good wine, but I’ve preferred the other Southern Italian reds I’ve tried. This has strong raspberry notes and went well with my bruschetta and olives. No real complaints, but it’s not memorable and not as complex as some others I’ve tried. I like negroamaro blends better from Puglia. 14.5% alcohol by volume. Aged six months in barrels. Less than $15. Described by winery as raspberry, blackberry, and toast.
