Another strong vintage of this consistently excellent wine. Medium ruby color (slightly opaque) with just a slight brick edge. Pronounced aromas of violets, eucalyptus, wet soil and ripe red berries. Red cherry, raspberry and wild berry fruit drive the palate along with hints of white pepper and Asian spices. Beautifully balanced. Bright acidity and firm (yet refined) tannins. Complex and focused. Always a pleasure to drink.

Apparently the producer is known for their Barbaresco, so had to cop.
Good entry point as well, will not break the bank.
Soil and roses. Less tar, more muddy. In a good way. Nice tannins, bracing acidity. Needs a bit of roundness at the end. Nice strawberry front notes
