Holy Tannins! Roses and Tar on the nose, high minerality. Better on day 2, let this one breathe.

Frisk og lett, men litt tørrere ettersmak. Drakk den på Teatro, til hvit pizza.

This wine is long and wide. It lacked any smokiness or oakiness, in the way a Pinot Noir or País often give off a feeling of rye whisky after glows. However this wine spreads itself all through your mouth, hitting all the taste sensitive regions almost at the same time. Like a starburst. The tannins though helped give it some grounding, like overbrewed english breakfast. It would love to be served with a bacon egg and cheese--something greasy to cut through those tannins, and definitely some kind of dark red fruit to help illuminate the subtler notes this wine had to offer. Good for cooked, fattier proteins, not so much poultry or fish.

A 2015. Fantastic. Bright red fruit flavors, incredibly smooth.
