Very nice Nero D'avola. Great taste, not too dry, very drinkable with pizza, or pasta for example. Lighter than a merlot.

Garnet. Chewy. Yummy. Dusty tannin. Leather. Not old leather purse. New supple perfect fit shoes. Ripe blackberries. Just lovely. Sip.

Italian Sangiovese grape $11.99. Like it # it has a fruit forward taste with a buttery finish. A little sweet at first with a tobacco smell and taste

Found this little treasure on sale at the local market. First taste - super potable, not too dry, definitely not sweet, well balanced. Accidentally drank an entire bottle by myself last night. This AM - no hangover!!! Is this a miracle in a bottle? Perhaps! Overall, a great wine I’m happy to serve to guests with a meal (perhaps not dessert), or drink all by myself on a Friday while watching season 2 of Stranger Things - no hangover repercussions? Even better!

A little more pronounced on the earthy bramble fruit. Had a nice lingering finish. Woody and toasty.

Strong nose of cherries. Tart and acidic as well as smoky. Will probably age well, wish I'd kept a few years longer.

Great wine for the price with everything I love...chewy, dense, bold, rich fruit and a little smoky. 2014 vintage.

In the food capital of Italy, typically you get a light Lambrusco or other light Italian wines, but this Sangiovese is a slight treat. It's got that little cinnamon and nutmeg and vanilla smells (some oak), medium body, smooth oak tannins finish. Higher acid (that citrus puckering and salivating feel). Oak really rounded out the acid in this. Nice drinker.
