25 years and holding very strong. Amarone style and kicking alcohol for its day. Still rich and balanced. Dried fruit, earth and oily engine aromas. Great tannins from the Cab. Length, depth and structure is fantastic. Scary how much age this still has.

Absolutely gorgeous. Little bit of amarone influence here bringing a beautiful hint of raisin like sweetness that sits right through the mid palate without bringing a jamminess to the wine. Emmaculately structured and balanced. The ripe fruits are rounded out by a waft of menthol and black olive. Oak a little prominent at this young age but nothing I'm complaining about

21 year old Moda. Startlingly fresh still. Sweet deep fruit, soft tannin but still sexy grip here. Classic age characters but so much time left in it. Just way too easy to drink. A winner.

Browning at its rim but hanging on nicely. Amarone character very present but not overbearing, nice (albeit fading) fruit, good pairing with pork.

Ethereal... imagine an aristocratic, aged Left Bank Bordeaux crossed with an elegant Amarone - that’s what we’re dealing with here. Producer air dries CS & M and the result is incredible. Still so much freshness & vigor here, vivid flavors off the chart - just wow

Distinctly Cabernet initially. Leaf, blackcurrant, leather, cigar box, bark, raisins, violets, earth and blackberries. So structured still.
