Ah yes just as I remember from a visit a few years ago. Outstanding Napa Valley fruit from one of my fav's. This hits just the right balance of classic cab cassis, black/blue berry, new/old style, and with enough complexity to make it really kick butt. Solid.

Spring Mountain Cabernet at its best. Black tea, pencil lead, dark chocolate and cassis notes. Fairly long finish. In a great place now but no need to rush - has plenty of time ahead of it.

Drinking beautifully but by no means near peak. Red fruit, menthol and dark chocolate.
Slightly jammy. Tannins mostly resolved but still has plenty of structure.

So solid! Even better on nights two and three. Beautiful fruit, excellent balance, it’s always great!

Not one the better vintages or efforts in Pride’s VS line. A very good wine, but not great. Fruit is lush, and tannins fine. Still slightly disjoint and angular though, with an overly mineralized backend and finish.
