Pride Mountain Vineyards
Reserve Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon

This wine was superb. I think it’s drinking really well at this time. Smooth, well-aged, classic Napa cab. Balance of fruit and secondary flavors, not too tannic. $149.99. 92 points RP.

So delicious! Very well balanced and elegant! Not overwhelming at all. Tannins are beautifully integrated. And great the second night as well.

2008: Kind of shocked me. Haven’t opened a bottle since I bought a case upon release. I was giving them away as gifts because I thought it “wasn’t my thing.” Upon tasting this, I regret the gifting! Crazy ultra cassis on the nose with deep cigar tobacco and raspberry jam. A little less complex palette still some stemmy bitterness, with softening tannins with enough left to seemingly evolve. Overall? A big surprise!

Subtle. Give it a few minutes to breathe. Very smooth.

It's actually the Reserve Claret. Eminently enjoyable - classic Spring Mountain fruit. Underrated by far.
