Honestly I’m having a tough time figuring out what I think of this wine. It’s certainly somewhat classic and well made, with the petrol nose, the mouth filling density, the tons of hanging acid on the finish. But for some reason it’s just not all coming together for me. Still nice.

stone galore, peach skin, plenty of acidity. traces of wet dog.
toni bodenstein's entry level riesling with high drinkability even makes fun in difficult years like 2014 - except you want the early filling delivered (have seen his federspiele in november of the vintages year!!) ----
