This Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is drinking well after aging for the past ~5 years. Begins with exceedingly earthy aromas of forest floor, mushroom & notes of dried cherry. Once allowed to decant (1+ hour) the fruit becomes more apparent on the nose & the palate wirh cherry & pomegranate flavors along with some surprisingly grippy tannins & a cola note on a relatively quick finish. Paired wonderfully with a charcuterie & cheese board! ($16) [7/29/21]

Initial impression was extremely feminine. Bright red fruit and gentle acidity with med tannin. That being said, the finish is a bit precipitous. Nothing memorable. Fantastic quaffing wine.
