My favorite from a recent trip to Oregon. A super small wine making operation. Sadly only available at the SE wine collective in Portland. Upon opening you think this stuff is flat. Give it about 3 hours. Then chalk and a hint of Kaffir lime. Very deep dark cherry notes show the warmth of the vintage. But unlike almost all the other 2016 Pinot’s I tried last week I am happy to say no plums! Touch bitter. Orange peal. Cardamom. Tea notes. Very well done!
