Bill was on point tonight wanting to prove to Weston that petite sirah can be delicious, but took a break from PS to bust this out. 😱 WOW! Absolutely superb. Toe to toe with the Peter Michael. Had more structure and complexity. The plum, tart fruit and earthy component to this for 16 yrs Old was so impressive.

2011 is elegant with lower alcohol, noticeable acidity but very well balanced, showing savory herbs in the finish... Begs for a leg of lamb... Finished the wine 4 day later and it was outstanding!

2000 Portfolio is amazing. Loads of fruit and true balance of texture. Good spice and alluring oak. Solid enough to lay down for another decade or more. Feel comfortable drinking now though. Im very impressed with the wine. I love it and the winemaker of this is extraordinary. I world set this as a must have for your cellar. Break it out to impress.
