A wonderful gift from @Paul K! Used the Coravin so not a full decant, but this evolved nicely in the glass. Lots going on but a nice balance with great acidity. Looking forward to our visit and tasting.

Jan 30th, 2023WTN for me! We did 6 Napa cabs. 2 from each producer, the top label and entry level cab, from 2015 - except Time which is Solera blend. Great guys, great night! Probably won’t do on a Sunday night again…

Jul 25th, 2022That’s more like it. The last bottle of ‘12 came up short for me. Either off bottle or off night for me. Probably the latter. This is great, but towards the bottom for me when comparing vintages from ‘07 - ‘19. Have a great weekend all!

Apr 23rd, 2022Just got this @Paul K Intense ruby. Oak, dark ripe fruit, and earthy scents. Fruitful on the pallet but also rustic with delicate and suave ripe fruit, more oak, some iron, spice, bright acidity and a meaty feel. Full bodied, medium plus intensity, medium plus tannings, high alcohol, and a prevalent finish. It is already showing great signs of integration and predicting this will peak early, four or five years.
Love Porter wines, I’ve tried the last three releases of this appellation and this is, by far, the best tasting at release. Cheers!
