Deep magenta color, appears very extracted but displaying a ton of acidity and spice character. Cherry and raspberry evolve into more black fruited profile with a few hours of air, but acidity remains taut. Notes of licorice, sandalwood and cedar bring some complexity and earth. Excellent attack and lingering grip on the palate with fine integration of fruit and oak tannins. One of the better RRV efforts we’ve tasted recently.
