Very identifiable as Tasmanian Pinot - this one from the Coal River and the high performing Pooley Wines. Last tasting note here was way back 153 weeks ago. Red fruited - drinking this early in its drinking window. Light to medium weight - lovely Tassie purity. Fine tannins.

May 30th, 2023Amazingly dark crimson for the delicate flavours and light to medium intensity. Minimum oak influence. Very Burgundian being light on its feet with M + intensity. Some beetroot vegetal earthy flavours. Bought this 2005 at the Winery on a visit in early January 2017. A high quality wine and Winery.
