Ponzi Vineyards
Classico Willamette Valley Pinot Noir
Medium Ruby with fresh ripe berry fruit flavors with earthy floral spice notes, aged for 11 months in French oak (26% new). On the palate flavors of cherry and raspberry with tea, herb and citrus adding some floral notes. Fine tannins on long finish ending with fruit and slight earthy character. Good now, will benefit from short-term aging.

Apr 21st, 20222016- rich dark fruits. Blackberries, cranberries. Rich earthy body. Subtle spicy finish with light tannins for a smooth finish. Very well balanced. Would be amazing if sat for a few years

1 person found it helpfulDec 7th, 2020Medium ruby color. Charred wood cherry vanilla on the nose (with a mustiness), and a hint of white pepper. Medium bodied and dry, with unstained legs. Acidity is medium plus. Alcohol is almost high at 13.9 ABV. This is very well balanced. Medium soft tannins. Nice wine.
