Cheers to Gino V! Love this wine, love the memories, In Violas! Bright raspberry with a touch of mint, this wine can be paired with lots of dishes easily. Tonight was Flat Iron with Cauliflower, Asparagus, and Balsamic Glaze.

Bright acid and no flab from one of my favorite producers out of Montepulciano. Merlot can't do this anywhere else. Lovely.

Tasty. Red purple, opaque. Smell is of plum, raspberry and must. Full bodied, lots of dark fruit, tannic. Finish is pretty astringent. Don’t love the finish but overall enjoyable. Nice on its own but would also pair nicely with more robust meals.

Dry, spice and earthy. So different than a new world merlot with all the fruit upfront. Had hoped it would gain in complexity as it opened up but didn’t. Great pairing with my Bolognese dish at Gino’s.
