Pokolbin Estate
Ken Bray Sémillon
Started off with a bang and then faded. Alas, probably should have taken my own advice, as per my previous note here ten years ago, and tried this about five years ago. It looks to have not developed into a complex beast nor kept much of its early thrill. Definitely Sémillon on the nose and palate but after 30 minutes, and/or a few glasses, it seemed to fade to generic white wine 101. Shame, as we've got two more bottles.

Nov 26th, 2023Freshness that must be hiding some sweet side
It is a chase
Pretty fleshy and low alcohol
It keeps going
I think I could drink a barrel...opppssss....it has never got into a barrel
Well, I will drink it from the tap!!
Searing minerality
Maybe not yet very complex, but so enjoyable ❤️
