Beautiful rich Super Tuscan for $14.99 at Costco. Ripe blackberry, black plum, plum skin and black cherry dominate with well integrated new French oak, fresh and dried herbs and a bit of fresh turned soil and black pepper. The tannins were a little gritty out of the gate but were well integrated by night two and the wine was nicely balanced between fruit and acid. Good QPR.

Opaque ruby red color together with intense aromas of blackberry, tobacco, and dried spices on the nose. Full-bodied with very nice & intense taste of blackberry, dried black rasin, creamy dark chocolate, and a touch of black pepper on the palate. Solid structure, bright acidity, and smooth & firm tannins with nice & soft long length at the end. Like it very much.
