Still so underrated. Needs time, lots of structure but juicy and complete.

Such a great value. Pretty, medium bodied, fruit forward. Morello cherry with nice earthy balance. Complete, complex, correct. No oak.

Sangiovese from the Val d’Orcia hills. Dusty, dried red currants, eucalyptus and mint, licorice and violet, wild strawberries. Aged in Slavonian oaks barrels. Bright acidity and smooth tannins. Paired perfectly with a quick lamb ragu pasta with mint.

Drinking well now but can go for quite some time. Exuberant fruit with a nice oak influence. Long, silky and tasty finish.

Oak is starting to recede and reveal eucalyptus and mint and leather. Another couple years and this will be hitting all notes.
