Magnificent showing this evening; the sturdy '06 is finally coming into its own, showing fine-tuned, grainy and sweet tannins, framing the lush red berries and forest floor aromas/flavors. Great Burgundy profile but of course providing more grip, yet sharing a similar acidic structure. This will easily cruise another 15+ years. Bravo!

Third time I've had this and by far the best bottle. Oak is receding, dried fruits and autumnal flavors coming forth. Solid tannins. Classy.

Classic. Aromas of black/blue berries and candied orange with forest floor. Grainy course tannins but softening with opening time. Deep flavor. Bricky dense color.
