Great nose. Lots of leather, smoke and tar. Mineral as all can be. Smells stoney. Hint of florals and freshly stepped in moss. Palate is rich, structured and closed. A tiny bit of heat peeks out. This 15.5% so.....a brave new world we are in! But balanced as well, elegant and pure. Terrific fruit thrust and concentration. Good minerals and lovely structure. I’d wait 5 years.

For a 2015, pretty nice. Very big but manages to not present as overly hot. Would be better in a couple years if it can stay balanced. Good pairing with steaks.
