Ah, €8 at the local Coop. It's delectable. Bright fruit, summer cherries, a little spice, but not heavy on the tongue. Overall a gorgeous wine with simple pasta, pork, and just drinking while watching a great spy flick on a chilly winter's evening.

Let it breathe! What starts as a funky wine opens to black cherry, cassis and mineral. Great with food, not so much of a sipping wine.

Brandied cherries, pencil shavings, dried thyme, cigar box, mint, dark plums, slight dried roses. Excellent acid/rough velvet tannin balance, medium bodied, concentrated texture, long dry herbal, smoky, slightly peppery finish. Caprese salad not included, but should be.
