Wow. This is the other single vineyard from Forte. This is the RC to the La Tache of the Antifeatro. Stunning nose. Perfection. The minerality is just so refined and so vivid. Unreal cherry flower and cherry liqueur. So clean. The cleanest. Leather. Smoke. But the sense of pulverized rocks is incredible. And this is not even 10% expressive. Herbs. Florals. Impossibly fragrant and complex. 9.8 nose now but more room to grow. And it will. Just sick. Palate is so silly good one only shakes their head. Insane concentration. Just massive. Fruit squeeze like nothing else. Ripe and super silky tannins and the finish is that telltale minerality. And man is that finish not quit. Incredible inner mouth aromas and just incredible tiny bit fruit intensity. Tannins are big and ripe but also substantial and need to integrate more. But that finish keeps slowly picking up fruit and length. 9.7 for now and I know this can go all the way 10 when it’s on. Let the journey begin!
