Bold tannins but almost no fruit or depth. Pretty much a rough table wine, but I'm happy to have tried it. Bought it at a vegetables stand on the side of the road on the way back to Rome from Saturnia! New: 2 days later and the fruit has come out, tannins receded, and this is an easy drinking wine! Still not a favorite, but it's much, much better.
