Fourth of the blind Napa Valley Mountain reds. Deep and dark ruby red. So young and tight on the nose. Quite a bit of spices like anise and some gravel. After a couple hours it started to open up with some sweet spices and dark bramble berries. Medium plus tannins (6.5/10) and medium plus body. A touch herbal on the palate with raspberries, lilacs, lavenders and a little vanilla. Dark and long finish with some darker spices. Drink till 2029. (92+) | Sample
