Named after the 10-year-long Etna eruption that began in 1614. The wine is clear ruby red; nose full of small tart black and red currants, powerful mineral salinity, light oak, and baking spices; the taste is a mouthfilling eruption (couldn't resist) of dark fruit and brush spices over a dense tannic structure. Very good, but needs a few years in the cellar.

Mörka bär, lagerblad, trä och lakrits. Gott men en aning spritigt när det blev varmare (14%).
