Critter label (well an antique truck that looks critter like). Good color. Hint of old books and attics with the juice (blackberry-cherry) on the nose. Flavors are ok. Bit of cola and lots of juicy berry-cherry stuff. It’s a hint vanilla cola from oaking as well. It’s a smooth dunker. Pairs with pasta and eggplant a-ok.

Fun little wine, took some time to unwind, but then showed deep dark generous red & black fruit w/plenty of spice & pepper. Mild tannins & well-integrated acidity, it went down smooth w/pizza on the beach. Steal @ $12
