Deep ruby , garnet rim . Slightly dusty , black fruits , cassis , touch of pencil lead . On the palate que raspy black fruits, good acidity . Ok length , balanced and again quite young in feel. Pretty concentrated and intense on the palate , ripe cassis , dark fruits , sous bois. Ok length, pretty aggressive tannins, forceful, even severe in style, balanced acidity. What it lacks in elegance it makes up for with power , if that’s your thing in Barolo. Drinking well now, though after a while this did start to tire , with notes of brown sugar and caramel. For now and over the next 10 years

Roses, strawberries, and a small jab of pomegranate and pepper. Tar is present as well. Silky and lovely finish.
