Winery located in Alba, the Piedmont region was founded by its namesake in 1881. Great Grandson, Pio Boffa, continues the tradition of innovative wine making. Nice Nebbiolo to drink now! Concentrated dark fruit aromas with some sweet spice notes. On the palate black cherry and sweet berry with cacao and toasty oak tones. Soft tannins, lingering ending with a savory fruit finish. Very Nice!

med plus intensity of vanilla, mushroom, spice and concentrated red cherry, thick red rose pedal on the nose. med plus body, med plus acid, med plus intensity, Moderate tannin, fat texture with bitterness, dusty earth with hint of minerality on the palate. fruit and structure are not well mingled. can be benefit from decanting, roasted lamb, sausage plate can go well. roasted potato and mushroom, or grana padano cheese.
