What an iconic and classic dolcetto. Enhances everything around it - including pizza. Dusty tannins and dried flowers with a slight potting soil and sweet rose petal note drives me crazy. #getyousome

I have not had this wine for many years. This is a very dry wine and with good but short lived flavors.

Winery located in Alba, the Piedmont region was founded by its namesake in 1881. Great Grandson, Pio Boffa, continues the tradition of innovative wine making. Dark Ruby with fresh fruit aromas and fragrant spice. On the palate cherry and pomegranate flavors with lively acidity, great mouthfeel, fine tannins with overall good balance. Lingering finish ending with fruit and spicy notes. Nice value.

Candied cherry, cranberry and some spice. This wine is youthful, off-dry, tart, with plenty of flavor and a long finish.

Red fruit, roses, and some vanilla oak to make for a pleasant, juicy glug.

Very good little wine from the Cesare. Nose is clean with good fruit. The palate is juicy and approachable mild tannins, good acidity, the finish will develop in the right direction. Very happy

Attractive and forward nose that is full of perfumed wood spice, full red fruits , truffle and rich soil, vanilla oak comes through pretty strong but is well integrated and there is a very attractive cherry and rose petal essence.
Palate has forward slightly sappy acidity but rounds out on the mid palate and is quite lovely but will benefit a tomato sauce.

Initially really dense and chewy, opened up nicely after about 1-2 hours into dark fruit, graphite and licorice. Fruit continuing to get more pronounced.
