Having a hard time remembering a Cab/Shiraz blend with chenin blanc in it? Only 2%, but still… weird move? I wonder if they are compensating for a flaw or really hoping for a new flavor? It’s ok, you can tell the vines are really young and the wine itself tastes immature in its concentration and specificity. Tangy, light, cherries and slightly sweet sour.

The Australian Shiraz only 27% Pierces thru the Cab (71%), with the Arneis 2% Just pushing a spicy note on top. This was 13.99 and took it home to have with a rich tomato - eggplant spicy greens slow cooked herb and superfood sauce over zucchini spirals & heavy aged cheddar & Romano blend and it paired beautifully! Almost a 9 but it's acid over fruit makes it just a wee too strong for reds I prefer... very good wine at a great price!

2013 vintage. Fruity, but not overripe. Raspberry, fresh cherry, blackberry, little sage, and cedar. Good, easy-drinker whose tannins come out a little more with air. Refreshing departure from other red blends at this price point. Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, and Arneis.

Great blend in the $15 range. Dark fruits and medium acidity. Let breathe for a few hours at the minimum for best results.
