Another solid vintage of this wine. Very similar characteristics as the 2012 Vintage. Pinnacle presents the best version of the Chambourcin grape in good growing years.

I am not usually a fan of this grape as a single varietal but the Pinnacle Ridge Chambourcin Reserve is an exception. Dark cherry, earthy and herbal aromas with flavors of Cherry compote, tar, vanilla and mushrooms. Lots of acidity. Deep color and very smooth tannins. Love the fact that this one is aged in Hungarian oak.
