Lehigh Valley Grüner Veltliner

Non vintage Gruner Veltliner. (Probably a blend of vintages.). Light golden color with some green highlights. Aromas and flavors of green orchard fruit, lychee, white flowers, green melon and white pepper spice. Long and lingering finish and crisp acidity. Excellent companion with food. Solid quality for the price. I would prefer a single vintage option but understand the circumstances. Enjoyed at the winery. — 9 days ago

Lehigh Valley Grüner Veltliner 2016

A crisp and “minerally” PA White. Straw gold in color with a green hue. Aromas of pear, straw and lemon grass. Flavors of pear, fresh thyme, and slate. Zippy acidity. Really good. — 7 years ago

Reserve Chambourcin 2013

Another solid vintage of this wine. Very similar characteristics as the 2012 Vintage. Pinnacle presents the best version of the Chambourcin grape in good growing years. — 8 years ago

Stone Cellar Fossil Vineyard Riesling 2014

Crisp, dry and well crafted. Nice Riesling with hints of peaches and flowers. Some tropical fruits on the pallet. Loads of acidity. Solid effort. — 9 years ago

Penns Woods

Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

Solid vintage year for the reserve cab. It’s one of the better balanced mid-Atlantic cabs you can find. It has the density and complexity of a top tier cab you’d expect from.more acclaimed Napa vineyards - but without the the ‘in your face’ tannins. Nice job Penn’s Woods! — 4 years ago

This was good. It wasn’t earth shattering like the way the cashier made it sound, but it was decent — 8 years ago

Blanc de Blanc Demi Sec 2019

A very pleasant surprise! Light golden color. Aromas and flavors of green apple, minerals, bread dough and a hint of citrus. Pleasant tiny bubbles and a creamy mousse. Solid balance and bright acidity. A touch (1.5%) of RS. Nice and refreshing. Crowd pleaser! — 3 years ago

Lehigh Valley Cabernet Franc 2018

Who knew they made great wine in the Lehigh Valley? This is the top grape in the region according to the producer. Shockingly good. Ripe berries, delicious soil, and well balanced. Will be buying again. Thanks to Peggy @ Earth for hooking it up. A very nice first Pennsylvanian wine for me. — 6 years ago
