Taking a cue from @Severn Goodwin I’m drinking some MO wine, which is made just a few hours from where I live. I had never had anything by Stone Hill prior to this, assuming it wasn’t very good, but I was wrong. This is a great light bodied red and was great with a slight chill. Black and blue fruits, forest floor, and a mineral streak combine with medium + acid and light tannins for an easy drinking, dry, fresh red. I bought a few of this producer’s wines and look forward to trying the others. A pleasant surprise! — 4 years ago

Very nice chambourcin. Rose petals and spiced nose. Moderate body, slightly sweet with cherries, raspberries, strawberries and spice. Soft finish. Drinkable on opening and day 2. — 2 years ago
A little sweet and fruity with a taste of the soil. Excellent red from a white region that is hit or miss with reds. — 3 years ago

2022. This was the only bottle of OWW’s everyday red that made it back to Nebraska. The winery has upped the percentage of Cabernet Franc each of these last three vintages (75% in 2022), but since their Cab Franc is my favorite, I’m all for it! Great with pizzas at the winery and great with sausage and green olive farfalle tonight. — 16 days ago
