2009 vintage. Medium ruby. Very ripe. Quite evolved - leather, meat. dried plum, tea notes. On the palate, full bodied, astringent acidity (added tartaric?) - out of balance. Tannins are high - chalky and not fully integrated. High alcohol - integrated. Medium plus length. The wine is unbalanced and doesn't quite work.
