Thalìa Etna DOC Rosso Nerello Mascasele
Don't really get the Burgundy/Pinot Noir comparisons people are making with Nerello. For me it's a lot for Nebbiolo-like, albeit more approachable. Sour cherries, rose petal, dried herb. A bit on the simple side, but an interesting wine.

Mar 31st, 2015Simple black cherry bomb, weightier than expected. Lacks balance and a little hot. Pretty good with a nice pizza pie though.

Jul 6th, 2014Big fan of this wine. Red Cherry, rose, mineral and dried herbs. Raspberry coulis, dried cranberry and smashed up rocks.
Lovely acidity, medium bodied with easy tannins.
