Riserva Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese

So much unlocked firepower in this thing. So young. So much youth. This thing is like Cristiano Ronaldo... in 2002. In 15 years it's going to win player of the year. #moneyinthebank

Lush fruit. Balsamic, leather and slightly tart black cherry.

Solid, but still a bit tightly wound. Needs time to relax.

Smooth going down no burn. Dry but doesn't leave your mouth wanting water.

Give this a few more years in the cantina, and it'll be the wine that knocks.

Don't know how I'm drinking this considering I made crumbs for tips...

I got gas in the tank... I got money in the bank... I've got news for you baby, you're looking at the man.


Turns out this is wine 550... wine 200 for me was the same bottle, just not the Riserva.

Creme brûlée almost chocolate. Nice dark fruit and super smooth. Great wine.

Drinking really well now though drinks more like a straight brunello than a riserva

Light dynamic strawberry fields without the jammy palate

Very very good wine...recently vacationed in Italy and fell In love with Brunello...tasting everything I can get my hands on...recommendations welcome!!
